All public transport times should be checked beforehand.

NB Unless otherwise stated, walks are usually on a Sunday and start at 10.30am. Most of our walks are leisurely in pace and usually start and end at a London Transport or Overground Station.

9th 10.30am C CHINGFORD STATION London Overground, Weaver Line. Figure 8 walk or morning walk only. Holly or Willow Trail, lunch near The View and Butlers Retreat, followed by the second trail. Totals 3 or 6 miles back to the station. 3/6 miles
16th 10.30am C WANSTEAD STATION. Circular walk around Wanstead Park and across The Flats. Leader's choice from many available paths varies the route. Dry lunch in gardens near the Green Man roundabout

CENTRAL LINE: Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March, no service between Leytonstone and Epping / Hainault (via Woodford). Replacement buses operate.

23rd 10.30am L HOLLAND PARK STATION. Linear walk, medium pace, to ST Paul's station, through parks and gardens. Dry lunch, approx. 7 miles. 7 miles

CHINGFORD STATION London Overground Weaver Line. Circular Forest walk to High Beach and return, with some ascents. Dry lunch near Visitor Centre and kiosk.

Saturday 5th 10.30am C ST JAMES STREET STATION, London Overground Weaver Line. Linear walk to the Olympic Park via Coppermill Lane. Dry lunch, finishing at Olympic Park. 5-6 miles
13th 10.30am L THEYDON BOIS STATION. Linear, forest walk to Loughton Station. Medium pace on good paths, via stop and dry lunch at High Beach. 7 miles
27th 10.30am C CHINGFORD STATION London Overground Weaver Line. Figure 8 walk or morning walk only. Holly or Willow Trail, lunch near The View and Butlers Retreat, followed by the second trail. Totals 3 or 6 miles back to the station. 3/6 miles

11th 10.30am L LOUGHTON STATION Linear Forest walk to Theydon Bois Station. Using part of the Green Ride and good paths. Medium pace, dry lunch 5.5 miles
18th 10.30am L COCKFOSTERS STATION Piccadilly line. Linear walk, medium pace, to Crews Hill station (main line) with a stop at the end for cups of tea at a garden centre. Lovely countryside walk, dry lunch. 6 miles
Saturday 31st 10.30am L DEBDEN STATION Linear walk, medium pace, to Woodford station .along the Roding Valley. Dry lunch approx. 6 miles
